About Philants
Philants Community Service was founded by Pranjal Oswal in 2017 under the Kastur Ratna Foundation. With an army of 450+ volunteers, Philants operates in 7 sectors of social service. Our motto is "Service Before Self".
We have organized numerous food distributions, collaborations with local businesses, and fundraisers to promote social welfare and support the underprivileged in our community.
Weekly Activities
Every weekend, we conduct a Food Drive to help those in need. A message is posted in our group, and you can sign up whenever you're available. It's a wonderful way to give back to the community and meet like-minded volunteers.
Other activities take place throughout the week with prior notice. These include educational workshops, environmental clean-ups, and visits to orphanages and senior centers.
Our Projects
We're proud to work across multiple sectors to create meaningful change in our community:
- Leaders of Tomorrow: Empowering orphans through education, mentorship, and creative opportunities.
- Vriddhaveksha: Supporting senior citizens with companionship, assistance, and recreational activities.
- Grow Green: Environmental welfare initiatives including tree planting, clean-ups, and awareness campaigns.
- Itni Si Hasi: Assisting the blind, deaf, and mute community with specialized programs and inclusion activities.
- Blood Bank: Organizing regular blood donation camps to help save lives in our community.
- Project Ishwari: Supporting the breast cancer community through awareness, counseling, and financial assistance.
